If you are a member of the Infinite Flight Community, I’m sure you have seen several users making a #screenshots-and-videos post with pictures of their journeys, or perhaps a video trailer for a VA, and more media production. Want to make your own?
First of all, what is the point of doing these? Some will say “Oh, for likes,” or for fame. It’s not about either of those. It’s about sharing your journeys with others, and using the amazing tools this app has to put out some great photos or videos. This media should be made so that you enjoy them, and that others can appreciate them too. Now, do likes feel good? Obviously, yes. It’s great to hear positive feedback from the community. But that shouldn’t be what is fueling you. It’s just a little red button on a screen. I do photos because I enjoy it, and it’s fun to have something that you can look back on to remember an experience.
Now that you are ready to start making some great media, always have a goal in mind. What are you trying to do? If you are trying to attract pilots to a VA, how can you make your content eye-catching and appealing? If you are making a topic on the newest update, how can you best showcase the new features and aircraft? Don’t lose sight of your goal.
You can create amazing things, whether it be a livery composite, sunset photoshoot, a group photo for a VA, or a video trailer for an update. Be creative, use the tools you’ve been given, and don’t be afraid to ask for feedback. Additionally, help others out along the way. If you’ve gained all this knowledge, why not share it? Make a tutorial, answer questions, return the love the community has shown you.
In my few months of screenshotting and topic making, I’ve learned so much, mostly through trial and error, and others who are more experienced than me. I owe it all to the community.
You have all these tools and resources to create amazing content and showcase the greatest features of Infinite Flight, so what are you waiting for? Get out there and be creative, unique, and most of all, have fun.
